According to statistics, by the morning of October 30, the entire area of Hue City had 2 deaths, 6 missing people and 1 injured person due to floods.
Currently, the whole city still has 32 communes and wards flooded 1-2m deep, some places over 2m. Nearly 44,500 houses were flooded from 0.5 - 2m, concentrated in the areas of Quang Dien, Hoa Chau, Phu Loc.

Regarding traffic, many key routes are still cut off. Specifically: National Highway 1A has been opened to traffic, but the section passing through Phu Xuan and Thuan Hoa wards is still flooded 30 - 80cm, having to be diverted through the Hue bypass road.
The La Son - Tuy Loan Expressway collapsed on the positive slope at Km12+300, the water overflowed the road surface at Km14+00, and now had to temporarily divert traffic through National Highway 1.
The Ho Chi Minh Highway West branch opens to traffic until Km372 (A Roang), the section Km372 - Km413 is still congested; National Highway 49A, Hue - A section, has many landslides, only one lane is open to traffic.

Most provincial and urban roads are still flooded, authorities have fenced off and banned vehicles from passing to ensure safety.
Hue City Power Company has cut off power to 201,100 households in flooded areas, temporarily cutting off 1,479 transformer stations. By the morning of October 30, the power had been restored to about 51.6% of households.

In addition, landslides on the Thuan An coast occurred seriously, the Hoa Duan section was eroded 1km, the sea was 50 - 70m deep inland, threatening infrastructure works and residential areas. The coastal route of Vinh Loc commune was also 2km eroded, affecting Provincial Road 21.
The police, military and local forces are mobilizing maximum manpower and means to search for missing people, overcome landslides and ensure traffic safety on the entire route.
