The Ministry of National Defense issued Concluding Document No. 51/VBHN-BQP of the Decree on defense work at central and local ministries and branches.
Scope of regulation: This Decree details Article 16 of the 2018 Law on National Defense on the content of national defense work at central and local ministries and branches; Military Commands of ministries and branches, central and local standing agencies for national defense work; responsibilities, relationships of ministries, central and local branches and funding to ensure national defense work.
Subjects of application: This Decree applies to ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, central Party agencies, central agencies of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, central agencies of socio-political organizations;
The Office of the President, the Office of the National Assembly, the State Audit, the Supreme People's Procuracy, the Supreme People's Court; Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University, a Group, a Corporation established by the Prime Minister (hereinafter referred to as the Central ministries and branches), and localities.
Notably, Article 16 has stipulated the work of Inspection and Inspection of National Defense work as follows:
Periodically or suddenly, competent authorities organize inspections of national defense work in accordance with the provisions of the law on inspection and other relevant provisions of law.
Periodically or suddenly organize national defense inspections as follows:
The Ministry of National Defense inspects central and local ministries, branches;
Central ministries and branches shall preside over or coordinate with the Ministry of National Defense to inspect agencies and organizations under their authority and agencies and organizations under their management in localities;
The Military Region Command inspects localities, agencies and organizations in the area;
The Provincial People's Committee inspects the commune level, agencies and organizations in the area.
