Hanoi is focusing on accelerating site clearance (GPMB) for the project to invest in construction, renovation, and upgrading of National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section to ensure the construction progress of the entire route.
According to the Hanoi City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the project to invest in the construction, renovation and upgrading of National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section is implemented with 3 component projects. Among them, 2 projects implement compensation, support and resettlement in Ha Dong and Chuong My wards; the remaining project is to invest in the construction, renovation and upgrading of the road.
According to the plan, the route is about 21.7km long, design speed from 80-100km/h. The starting point of the project is at Km14+00, the ending point is at Km38+00, Xuan Mai commune area, adjacent to Luong Son commune, Phu Tho province.
The total investment of the entire project, including component projects for site clearance, is about 9,590 billion VND. To date, the disbursed value has reached nearly 999 billion VND.
Regarding site clearance, the city sets a target to complete the entire project in the second quarter of 2026. In which, Kien Hung and Duong Noi wards are expected to be completed in April 2026; Phu Luong and Yen Nghia wards will be completed in June 2026; Chuong My ward and Xuan Mai and Phu Nghia communes strive to complete in June 2026.
In Kien Hung ward, the area to be cleared is about 4,411m2 with 39 plans related to 31 households and 3 organizations. Up to now, land recovery notices have been issued for 33/39 plans, inventory of 28 cases has been completed, and plans for compensation, support, and resettlement for 2 cases have been approved.
In Duong Noi ward, the total area to be recovered is about 2,891.7m2 related to 51 households and 2 organizations. The investigation and inventory work has completed 52/52 cases; in which a draft compensation plan has been developed for 43 cases.
In Phu Luong ward, the project involves 59 cases with an area of more than 14,136m2. The locality has issued 53 land acquisition notices and is continuing to investigate, inventory, and develop a compensation plan.
Yen Nghia ward has about 623 affected households with an area of more than 124,000m2. To date, 110 land acquisition notices have been issued, and dossiers and draft plans for compensation, support and resettlement have been completed.
In Xuan Mai commune, there are 1,746 plans to be implemented. Among them, land recovery notices have been issued for 1,583 cases, surveyed and counted 979 cases and approved 288 plans. In Phu Nghia commune, 1,037/1,146 plans have been investigated and are continuing to complete dossiers to develop compensation plans.
In parallel with site clearance work, units are deploying the relocation of technical infrastructure systems such as electricity, telecommunications, water supply, lighting and green trees to serve project construction.
Regarding construction, some bridge and road items are being deployed. Ring Road 4 overpass has constructed 95/144 bored piles, completed 2/16 abutments and cast 12/120 SuperT girders. Mai Linh bridge has cast 36/238 girders and is constructing bored piles. Other bridges such as Dong Chu bridge and Tan Truong bridge are also being deployed structural items.
For the road section, about 19.91km of the route length has been handed over, but the ground has not been continuous. Units are constructing drainage systems, roadbeds and technical items in sections where ground has been cleared.
Representatives of the Hanoi City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the unit is coordinating with communes and wards to accelerate the progress of site clearance, complete compensation, support and resettlement dossiers to soon hand over clean ground, creating conditions for synchronous project implementation in the near future.
