The sky-shattering red color of flags and flowers along with the excited atmosphere of the people are turning Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and many other localities into a beautiful autumn picture to the heart on the occasion of National Day September 2nd.
In the sunny days of the last days of August, streets across the country are dressed in a brilliant look. The clear autumn color blends with the bright red color of flags and flowers, creating a space that is both solemn and bustling, celebrating the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2nd (1945 - 2026).
From small alleys to major roads, red flags with yellow stars fill the sky. Along major streets such as: O Cho Dua, Nguyen Trai, Phan Dinh Phung... large-sized posters celebrating the important holiday are solemnly arranged. Colorful fresh flower carpets are meticulously cared for. Amidst the joyful atmosphere, all faces of the Capital's people seem to be more radiant. Pride shines clearly in the eyes and smiles of old people and children.
At the historic Ba Dinh Square, the golden autumn sunshine further enhances the majesty of Uncle Ho's Mausoleum. Many people and tourists from all over flocked to visit the Mausoleum and keep commemorative photos. In the space filled with flags and flowers, images of young women in pure white ao dai, holding red flags with yellow stars, appeared radiant, attracting many lenses.
Taking a break after taking souvenir photos, Le Thao Nhi (23 years old, Hanoi) radiantly shared: "A full year after the heroic atmosphere of the A80 ceremony, today stepping into Ba Dinh Square, the emotions in me are still full of emotion and pride. I chose to wear a traditional white ao dai combined with the red flag with a yellow star because I want to preserve the most beautiful youthful images associated with love for Hanoi, love for the country. Standing under the harmonious autumn sunlight in front of Uncle Ho's Mausoleum, I clearly felt the sacred beat of the two words "Independence".
