AI tools cause a fever
Veo 3 is Google's advanced video artificial intelligence model announced at the Google I/O 2025 event. Developed by Google DeepMind, Veo 3 supports filmmakers, content creators, and users to convert text or images to high-quality videos, integrating original sound from just commands.
Just a few weeks after its launch, Veo 3 quickly took over Vietnamese social networks. Users eagerly share their experiences, many people compare Veo 3 to a miracle in the hands of the creator.
Mr. Ngo Gia Huy - a user who regularly posts videos made from Veo 3 on TikTok page said: "For each video, I will enter the desired described: Regarding dialogue, context, character character characteristics... After a period of receiving commands, the desired video will appear. Currently, Veo 3 videos are also quite popular on social networking platforms, and my videos also have many viewers".
To use it, users need to register for the Google AI Pro package, with a price of 489,000 VND/month, and free for the first month. If registered annually, the fee is 5 million VND, down 14% compared to each month.
When registering for the Google AI Pro package, users are granted 1,000 monthly AI credits. Each time creating Veo 3 videos in Flow in fast mode, it loses 20 credits, quality mode loses 100 credits. However, only users who register for Google AI Ultra can add AI credit. And this package is not currently available in Vietnam.
Risks of buying cheap accounts
Many Vietnamese users have tried to use VPNs to transfer IP to other countries and register for accounts through promotional packages, even fake student accounts to receive lower prices. The black markets for Veo 3 accounts have sprung up like mushrooms on Facebook, Telegram, TikTok... Users are not unlikely to encounter offers such as buy a great Veo 3 account, create unlimited videos for only 200k/month, Register to Veo 3 with your own Gmail, absolute safety or Give away with a Gmail account registered to Veo 3, with a lifetime guarantee.
However, behind those advertisements is a series of risks: Company loss, data leakage and even sophisticated scams.
After buying and using Veo 3 account for 6 days, Mr. Quang Thang (Hanoi) regrets having his Google account locked. Mr. Thang shared that he came to the Veo 3 tool because he wanted to create interesting and humorous AI videos to post on his personal page. When buying an account for 150,000 VND for 1 month, the seller sends Gmail, the password, and guarantees that if you log in, you can use it. But after 2 days, Gmail was locked down for "unusual operations". The money was gone and could not be taken back.
Another more sophisticated trick is to ask customers to provide personal Gmail accounts to register for them. As a result, not only do users lose access, but they are also at risk of leaking their emails, Drive data, personal photos, etc.
Discussing this issue with Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, Mr. Ngo Minh Hieu - a cybersecurity expert - said: "The purchase and use of Veo 3 accounts that are being advertised for sale online at surprisingly cheap prices has a series of potential technical and security risks. Many "bargaining" accounts are actually stolen from real users, internal staff or taken from data leaks. Buyers who accidentally accompany the illegal act can have their accounts revoked at any time when the owner has a real complaint".
In addition, Mr. Hieu shared the "3 no's" principle when approaching new technology such as Veo 3: No rush to report - no rush to install - no rush to share.
Users should only use the tool through the official page, do not download strange software, always activate 2-step authentication for important accounts and carefully check the links before logging in. In the digital environment, vigilance is the first layer of security.
In the race to find powerful tools like Veo 3, Vietnamese users need to keep a clear mind: don't accidentally fall into the technology trap because you want to "go ahead of the times". AI creativity is an inevitable trend but only when approached in a legitimate, safe and knowledgeable way.
