On Nguyen Van Linh Street, strong winds caused a tree to be uprooted and fall on a motorbike parked on the side of the road. The car was damaged but fortunately there were no casualties. The authorities quickly arrived to handle the scene, ensuring traffic safety.

Heavy rain lasting until nearly 8:00 p.m. caused flooding in many major roads such as Ham Nghi, Nguyen Van Linh, Le Duan, Hai Phong, Quang Trung. Many people had to move onto the sidewalk or walk through deeply flooded sections.
In particular, on Quang Trung Street in front of Nguyen Hue Secondary School and Da Nang Hospital, floodwaters caused many vehicles to stall, causing traffic jams.


According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at around 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. the same day, Da Nang recorded the highest rainfall of 58.4mm. It is forecasted that in the next 3-6 hours, the area will continue to have rain of 20-40mm, locally over 70mm. The risk of flash floods, landslides, and land subsidence is at risk level 1. It is necessary to be on guard against dangerous weather phenomena such as local heavy rain, tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.
