On June 23, the Management Board of the T2 Passenger Terminal Construction Project - Dong Hoi Airport (Quang Tri province) said that the construction of T2 Passenger Terminal is currently in the construction acceleration phase.
The team of engineers and workers is deploying the installation of roofing systems, approach bridges, and important auxiliary technical systems to complete the infrastructure to serve passengers.
Passenger terminal T2 is designed modernly, meeting the increasing needs of passengers in the area and contributing to improving service quality at Dong Hoi airport.
The project is not only an expansion in scale, but also a significant improvement in passenger service utilities, helping passengers move conveniently and safely.
Terminal T2 after completion will increase capacity to 3 million domestic passengers per year, equivalent to serving a maximum of 1,200 passengers/peak hour. This is an important step forward to help the airport meet travel needs, promote economic and tourism development of Quang Tri and neighboring provinces.
The expansion of the terminal also means the possibility of increasing the number of flights, expanding the network connecting destinations.
In parallel with the construction and expansion of the terminal, Quang Tri province has been actively implementing promotion and cooperation programs to expand new routes. One of the focused plans is to open more Dong Hoi - Nha Trang routes, increase Dong Hoi - Hanoi flights and vice versa.
The expansion of the air route network aims to connect Quang Tri with major economic and tourist centers across the country, promote trade, tourism and attract investment. At the same time, this is an opportunity for Quang Tri to enhance its position and develop aviation services, meeting the increasing travel needs of passengers.
