On June 10, according to information from Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV), the Long Thanh International Airport Project Management Board (Long Thanh airport) in coordination with Dong Nai Power Company successfully energized and put into operation all input lines of the 22kV power line from the 110kV Long Thanh Airport Substation (PCĐN) to the power supply substation (PWR-ACV) according to the approved design.

According to ACV, this is an important step in implementation, ensuring continuous and safe power supply for trial operations, synchronous exploitation of technical infrastructure systems of the entire project, contributing to ensuring progress, towards the goal of putting Long Thanh airport into commercial operation by the end of 2026 as directed by the Government.
Previously, on June 1, ACV organized the "180-day and night launching ceremony to accelerate the completion of the project and put Long Thanh airport into operation", officially launching a peak emulation period throughout the construction site.
To date, the project has reached 75.97% of the total value of signed contracts; many key items have reached high progress, in which runway No. 1 has been completed and put into technical operation.
Long Thanh airport passenger terminal (the heart of the project) has completed the entire main structure and is entering the completion and equipment installation phase, ready for the sprint towards the finish line.
