According to information from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, some airports will temporarily close to respond to storm No. 10 Bualoi.

Details of the temporarily closed airports are as follows:

Dong Hoi Airport: Stop receiving aircraft from 13:00 - 22:00 on September 28, 2025.

Tho Xuan Airport: Stop receiving aircraft from 22:00 on September 28, 2025 to 7:00 on September 29, 2025.

Phu Bai International Airport: Stop receiving aircraft from 08:00 to 14:00 on September 28.

Da Nang International Airport: Stop receiving aircraft from 06/11:00 on September 28.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam directs that Airports are implementing construction (Cat Bi International Airport, Vinh Airport, Dong Hoi Airport): Investors require contractors to immediately deploy storm response work; identify technical stops to stop construction according to the storm's developments; prepare conditions to promptly fix construction incidents, ensure safety, and limit damage caused by the storm.

In addition, arrange 24/7 duty, proactively update meteorological information to promptly propose appropriate and safe exploitation plans.

The Department also noted that units that after the storm weakens and makes landfall are likely to cause rain after the storm.

For Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM), the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Agency requires VATM to direct aviation meteorological service providers to strengthen the work of ensuring the quality of meteorological information; continuously monitor weather conditions in the area of responsibility, update forecasts and warnings; provide full and timely monitoring, forecasting and warning information to users.

For airlines and flight operations assurance service providers, the Hong Kong air force agency requires units to strengthen coordination; closely monitor the developments of storm No. 10 to have plans to adjust flight plans or change flight schedules accordingly and ensure safety for flight operations.

In addition, it is necessary to fully update meteorological information from relevant aviation meteorological facilities and based on the actual situation to deploy necessary response actions, minimize the impact on operations, ensure safety of flight operations, and protect people and property of the unit from natural disasters.

Information on responding to storm No. 10, a representative of Vietnam Air Traffic Management Company ( VATM) said that currently, units are activating response plans, the entire Command Board of agencies and units must immediately activate storm/tropical depression response plans, assign specific tasks and be on duty 24/7.

Apply the "four on-site" principle (on-site command, on-site forces, on-site means and materials, on-site logistics). The works and stations must be tie and anchored according to the approved plan to limit damage. Units need to check the communication system and flight operations, coordinate with the Technical Department and the Air Traffic Department to handle bad weather situations, including stopping or turning off equipment if necessary.

The Center for Air Traffic Management must monitor operations on flight routes, plan to avoid heavy flights and short-haul flights, especially for transit flights that may change flight routes to avoid storms. The Northern, Central and Southern Flight Management Companies must comply with flight operations regulations in unfavorable weather conditions, prepare plans to change flight routes or switch to reserve airports. The Aviation Search and Rescue Coordination Center and the Aviation News notification Center will synthesize reports and coordinate with the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to broadcast appropriate aviation news.
