Thuy Nguyen city will have 9 wards on the basis of 9 communes and towns, including wards: Minh Duc, Hoa Dong, Thien Huong, Quang Thanh, Hoa Binh, An Lu, Lap Le, Tam Hung, Pham Ngu Lao; the new ward names will be kept according to the names of the communes and towns. In particular, the name of Pham Ngu Lao ward was formed on the basis of Ngu Lao commune. The working headquarters of the above 9 wards will be at the current commune headquarters.
Thuy Nguyen City also has 8 wards based on the merger of commune-level administrative units, including Duong Quan ward based on the merger of Tan Duong commune and Duong Quan commune. The working headquarters is at the current headquarters of the People's Committee of Duong Quan commune.
Hoang Lam Ward on the basis of merging Lam Dong commune and Hoang Dong commune. The working headquarters is at the current headquarters of Lam Dong Commune People's Committee.
Le Hong Phong Ward, based on the merger of Kien Bai commune and My Dong commune, has its office at the current headquarters of the People's Committee of My Dong commune.
Tran Hung Dao Ward merged from Dong Son Commune and Kenh Giang Commune with headquarters at the current Kenh Giang Commune People's Committee.
Luu Kiem Ward, based on the merger of Luu Ky commune and Luu Kiem commune, is headquartered at the current headquarters of the People's Committee of Luu Kiem commune.
Thuy Duong Ward is based on the merger of Nui Deo town and Thuy Son and Thuy Duong communes. The working headquarters is the current People's Committee of Thuy Son commune.
Thuy Ha Ward is based on the merger of Trung Ha Commune and Thuy Trieu Commune. The working headquarters is currently at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Trung Ha Commune (however, because the headquarters of the People's Committee of Trung Ha Commune is under repair, the temporary working headquarters is at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Thuy Trieu Commune).
Nam Trieu Giang Ward on the basis of merging Phuc Le commune and Pha Le commune. The working headquarters is at the current headquarters of Phuc Le commune People's Committee.
Thuy Nguyen City also established 4 new communes including Bach Dang commune on the basis of merging 3 communes: Gia Minh, Gia Duc and Minh Tan. The working headquarters is currently at the People's Committee of Minh Tan commune.
Lien Xuan Commune on the basis of merging communes: Lien Khe, Lai Xuan. The working headquarters is currently at the People's Committee of Lien Khe Commune.
Ninh Son Commune is based on the merger of 3 communes: An Son, Ky Son and Phu Ninh. The working headquarters is at the current Phu Ninh Commune People's Committee headquarters.
Quang Trung Commune is based on the merger of 3 communes: Hop Thanh, Cao Nhan and Chinh My. The working headquarters is at the current headquarters of Cao Nhan Commune People's Committee.
