On June 22, Binh Phuoc Ward People's Committee organized a conference to deploy and collect people's opinions on arranging and reorganizing neighborhoods in the ward.
According to the draft project, Binh Phuoc Ward People's Committee plans to rearrange and reorganize from 37 neighborhoods to 12 neighborhoods, reducing 25 neighborhoods, equivalent to a reduction of 67.57% compared to the present.
Neighborhood names after arrangement inherit familiar place names; boundaries are determined based on roads, main traffic axes, streams, natural boundaries, planning and actual management conditions.
Currently, the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc ward has approved the draft project to rearrange and reorganize neighborhoods. The People's Committee of the ward continues to implement the collection of people's opinions in the ward by issuing opinion forms for household representatives.

The content of collecting people's opinions includes: plans for rearranging and reorganizing the neighborhood; name of the neighborhood after arrangement; boundaries, management scope, residential area of the neighborhood after arrangement; cultural house expected to be used after arrangement. The collection of people's opinions will be completed before June 25, 2026.
It is known that Binh Phuoc ward was established from 6 communes of Dong Xoai city, former Binh Phuoc province. After establishment, the ward has an area of 86.38 km2 and a population of 111,440 people.
