On June 21, the Traffic Police Department of Cao Bang Provincial Police informed about landslides, flooding and traffic congestion in some areas in the area due to heavy rain.
Bao Lac district experienced flooding and landslides at Km345 National Highway 4A. The traffic police have placed warning signs, pulled ropes and the road is still operating normally. However, in some areas such as Ban Nga (Huy Giap commune), floodwaters rose, posing a potential risk to the safety of people and vehicles.

Xuan Truong Commune Police (Bao Lac) also advised people not to move through the Thua Tong spillway - where the flood water rises and flows rapidly - to choose an alternative route to ensure safety.
In Hoa An district, on provincial road 216 (Hoa An - Thong Nong), heavy rain caused landslides at Km7+500 and Km12+900. These locations have been repaired to ensure traffic. The Km6+960 section alone has landslides occupying 2/3 of the road surface, and the road management force is currently continuing to handle it.

The Traffic Police Department has sent officers to duty at key points to guide and warn traffic participants. The road is now open to traffic again.
In Ha Lang district, a landslide occurred at Km8+300 on Provincial Road 208 (Trung Khanh - Ha Lang section), although the road is narrow, cars can still travel.

In addition, due to heavy rainfall, some hydropower plants in the area are releasing floodwaters. Most recently, Binh Long Hydropower Plant (Hoa An) has opened a discharge valve with a flow rate of 66.3 m3/s.
The authorities recommend that people regularly monitor weather information, proactively move safely and follow instructions at areas at risk of landslides and flooding.
