On February 22, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee announced that within the framework of the 9th Coffee Festival in 2025, the Organizing Committee of the specialty roasting competition will organize a talk show "Cofie and the craft story" on March 12, 2025 at Kotam Tourist Area, Buon Ma Thuot city.
The event was organized by Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association in coordination with special sponsor Simexco Daklak (under the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee), an activity on the sidelines of the specialty roast coffee competition.
The program brings together 12 speakers from management agencies, associations, large domestic and international export enterprises, outstanding roasters and pioneering young people in innovating the Vietnamese coffee industry.
The talk show consists of three main parts: Orientation for developing specialty coffee associated with the enjoyment space "Buon Ma Thuot - World coffee destination"; Efforts to develop specialty coffee in recent times; Special coffee - Connecting the younger generation and orienting future value for Vietnamese coffee.
Mr. Le Duc Huy - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Simexco Daklak - commented that the program is an inspiring forum for experts, businesses and coffee lovers to discuss outstanding issues of the industry.
The speaker will share about efforts to improve product quality, expand the market and build a national coffee brand.
The event is an opportunity for the younger generation to express their creativity and breakthroughs, contributing to the sustainable development of the Vietnamese coffee industry and international integration.
"Coffee and crafting are not only a place to exchange experiences but also a bridge for the community, promoting Vietnamese specialty coffee to reach further," Mr. Huy emphasized.
