Accordingly, on the afternoon of June 7, a heartbreaking incident occurred in Tri Le commune when T.B.X (18 years old, residing in Pa Khom village) was hit by lightning right in his house.
At around 3:00 p.m. the same day, when the thunder suddenly arrived, X was sitting in the house when a lightningningningning strike fell on the spot, causing the victim to collapse. Relatives discovered it and tried first aid, but the child did not survive.
The local authorities arrived in time, expressed condolences and supported the family in organizing the funeral. This is a remote area with rugged terrain, many villages do not have power grids, and natural disaster warning work is still facing many difficulties.
The phenomenon of deadly lightning strikes in the North Central region has tended to increase recently, especially at the time of changing seasons. Previously, in some neighboring localities, many tragic cases have also occurred when people working in the fields or staying at home but lacking safety precautions.
