On the afternoon of April 15, the People's Council of Dong Kinh ward, term VIII, 2026-2031, held a thematic meeting to consolidate the title of Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Phung Quang Hoi, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Kinh ward.
At the meeting, the Ward People's Council conducted the process of electing the Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee of term VIII, term 2026-2031.
As a result, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Sen, Member of the Executive Committee of the Ward Party Committee, Head of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of the Ward; and Mr. Duong Duc Tuy, Member of the Executive Committee of the Ward Party Committee, Chief of the Office of the Ward Party Committee, were elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of Dong Kinh Ward People's Committee.
Both personnel are delegates of the People's Council of Dong Kinh ward, term VIII, and both received 100% of the votes of approval from the delegates present.
After the election content, delegates voted to approve the resolution confirming the results of the election of two Vice Chairmen of Dong Kinh Ward People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Sen said that she will continue to strive, promote the spirit of responsibility, and work with the leadership of the Ward People's Committee to complete the assigned tasks.
Closing the session, Mr. Phung Quang Hoi congratulated the two new Vice Chairmen of the Ward People's Committee.
He requested the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee to soon assign specific tasks to each Vice Chairman based on professional capacity, strengths, work experience and practical requirements, ensuring clear people, clear tasks, and clear responsibilities in management.
Ward leaders also requested the new Vice Chairmen to quickly approach new tasks, proactively grasp the situation in assigned fields, and strengthen coordination within the collective leadership of the Ward People's Committee to direct key tasks.
In which, the ward is required to focus on site clearance for key projects, and at the same time promote the implementation of socio-economic development goals in the area.
The Ward People's Committee, relevant agencies and departments of the Ward People's Council are requested to strengthen coordination to complete and strive to exceed the socio-economic development targets set out.
Dong Kinh ward is a central ward belonging to the old Lang Son city, Lang Son province, famous for its bustling commercial activities and strategic location.
In 2025, the ward was expanded by merging neighboring areas, including Vinh Trai ward, Yen Trach commune and Mai Pha commune to become a new administrative unit.
