On January 18, Van Ho Commune Police presided over and coordinated with the Traffic Police Department of Son La Provincial Police and Market Management Team No. 3 (Son La Provincial Market Management Sub-Department) to organize the destruction of 1.3 tons of animal organs of unknown origin in accordance with the law.
Previously, on January 16, functional forces discovered a car driven by Mr. N.V.H (born 1975), residing in To Hieu ward, Son La province, transporting 1.3 tons of animal organs with a foul odor, not ensuring food safety and hygiene.
At the time of inspection, the vehicle driver could not present invoices or documents proving the legal origin of the goods.
Market Management Team No. 3 issued a decision to sanction administrative violations of 17 million VND against N.V.H for the act of trading goods of unknown origin; and at the same time forced the destruction of all exhibits of violations.
