On the afternoon of May 17, in Krong Na commune, Buon Don border district, Dak Lak province, an electrocution incident occurred, killing a young man.
At around 2:30 p.m. this afternoon, a household in Ea Rong village, Krong Na commune lost power, so they asked Mr. Y H Bya, an employee of a clean water supply plant serving the three communes of Krong Na, Ea Huar and Ea Wer, to repair the power.
While climbing a high-altitude electric pole to repair it, he was unfortunately electrocuted and died on the spot, his body was stuck on the pole.
Shortly thereafter, the people reported that the functional forces cut off the power and brought the body of Mr. Y H Bya from the column. At the same time, the authorities conducted the scene examination and investigated the cause of the tragic accident mentioned above.
