On April 24, functional forces of Dak Lak province are investigating and clarifying the cause of a serious traffic accident that occurred on the Eastern bypass, killing 1 person and injuring 1 person.
According to initial information, at about 4:12 am on the same day, in the area of the East bypass intersecting with Provincial Road 2, belonging to Hoa Phu commune, a collision occurred between a truck with license plate 29E-219. XX and a taxi with license plate 50H-473. XX.
At the time of the accident, the truck was driven by Mr. P.T. T (residing in Ea Na commune, Dak Lak province), traveling on the Eastern bypass road in the direction from Ea Ktur commune to Hoa Phu commune.
Meanwhile, the taxi driven by Mr. T.D. T (residing in Ea Na commune, Dak Lak province) was traveling on Provincial Road 2 in the direction from Ea Na commune to Hoa Phu commune. The car was carrying passenger Mr. L.V. D (residing in Thanh Hoa province), who was on his way to visit relatives.
The accident killed Mr. L.V. D at the scene. Taxi driver T.D. T was injured and taken to the emergency room.
At the scene, vehicles were heavily damaged.
