The accident killed Mr. N.V.D on the spot, and the two vehicles were heavily damaged.
According to initial information, the cause was determined to be that the truck crashed into a tractor-trailer parked in the emergency lane on the highway.

From the above incident, the Traffic Police Department issued a warning about the risks from unsafe parking on the expressway.
The Traffic Police Department emphasized that the emergency stopping lane on the highway is only used in cases where vehicles encounter technical problems or force majeure situations. Stopping and parking vehicles in the emergency lane for rest, sleep, use of phones or perform other personal tasks is strictly prohibited.
In addition, the act of driving vehicles into the emergency stop lane against regulations also poses a potential risk of causing particularly serious traffic accidents.
According to the Traffic Police Department, in case of being forced to stop the vehicle due to an incident, drivers need to immediately turn on the danger warning light, and at the same time place a warning object from afar behind the vehicle in accordance with regulations so that other vehicles can recognize and proactively prevent it.
Failure to fully implement safety warning measures can lead to serious consequences. Especially at night, when visibility is limited and vehicles travel at high speeds, the risk of accidents increases.
Therefore, vehicle drivers need to quickly take warning measures, move to a safe location and proactively equip themselves with reflective jackets when getting out of the vehicle to handle incidents, in order to help other vehicles easily identify them from afar.
To prevent similar accidents, in the coming time, the traffic police force will continue to strengthen patrols, inspections, and strictly handle violations related to stopping, parking and using emergency lanes on highways.
