Accident between a truck and 2 motorbikes kills 1 person on National Highway 13

    Ho Chi Minh City - A truck has had an accident with 2 motorbikes, killing 1 person and injuring two others on National Highway 13 in Thuan Giao ward.

    The accident happened at about 7:30 am on August 20 on National Highway 13, passing through Thuan Giao ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The deceased victim was identified as Mr. L.V.H (36 years old, from Lam Dong).

    Initial information, at the above time, a male driver of about 30 years old was driving a truck carrying concrete on National Highway 13 in the direction from Hoa Lan intersection to Le Hong Phong intersection.

    When reaching the intersection with Ho Van Men street (Thuan Giao ward, Ho Chi Minh City), a collision occurred with 2 motorbikes traveling in the same direction. The accident killed Mr. L.V.H on the motorbike at the scene. The couple on another motorbike were injured and taken to the emergency room by people.

    Upon receiving the news, units of the Ho Chi Minh City Police were present to examine and handle the scene. The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified.
