Earlier, on the same morning of April 14, on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai, near the Long Phuoc toll station, 5 cars including pickup trucks, 7-seat cars and passenger cars suddenly collided, causing serious damage to the vehicles, causing congestion for many kilometers.
The authorities had to regulate remotely, proceeding to locate and open the entrance and exit of the expressway at the An Phu and Vo Chi Cong intersections, and direct vehicles to Mai Chi Tho Street and Hanoi Highway (HCMC) to reduce congestion.
