According to initial information, at around 1:29 p.m. the same day, Mr. H.V.R (born in 1976, residing in A more village, lia commune) was driving a motorbike with license plate 74H1-154.xx carrying his wife, Ms. Ho Thi Khoa (born in 1980), traveling on Provincial Road 586 from lia commune to Lao Bao commune.
When reaching km14+500, Mr. R drove a motorbike over a car with license plate 74C-100.xx traveling in the same direction. While overtaking, Mr. R's motorbike collided with a motorbike traveling in the opposite direction driven by a young man.
After the collision, Mr. R's motorbike fell onto the road. At this moment, the car behind rushed forward and ran over Mr. R, causing him to die on the spot. Mrs. Khoa was fortunately only slightly injured, and her motorbike was severely damaged. Notably, the young man driving the motorbike collided and then fled the scene.
Upon receiving the report, the police of lia commune quickly arrived to protect the scene and coordinated to investigate the vehicle involved in the incident. At the same time, report to the professional departments of Quang Tri Provincial Police to direct the investigation and clarify according to the law.
