On July 5, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters recorded at many key intersections in Vinh City (old), Nghe An Province, showing the constant risk of accidents due to the lack of a traffic light system to regulate vehicles.
Specifically, the intersection of Ho Han Thuong Street and Phan Dinh Phung intersection and the intersection of Ngo Gia Tu - Phan Boi Chau intersection are two "hot" points for traffic congestion.
During rush hour, the number of motorbikes, cars, buses and trucks is very large. Without lights or road markings, all vehicles can move, easily leading to collisions and traffic insecurity.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tien - a resident living near the intersection of Ho Han Thuong - Phan Dinh Phung - said: "Every day the car crows and blows the whistle. There have been several accidents, which are very dangerous for students and the elderly when crossing the road".
At the Phan Boi Chau - Ngo Gia Tu intersection (in Quan Bau ward, old Vinh city), the situation did not improve.
This is the route to Vinh Station, with schools and many residential areas, high density of vehicles, but traffic lights have not been installed yet. Many minor collisions have occurred, especially during the early morning and off-road peak season.
According to the people, they have repeatedly petitioned the local authorities, but so far there have been no specific actions on installing traffic lights or adding road markings and speed bumps.

In fact, research on installing traffic light systems at key intersections is very necessary to ensure safety of life and limit congestion, especially during the holidays.
People hope that the authorities will soon inspect and deploy synchronous solutions to avoid unfortunate accidents that may occur.
The leader of Vinh Hung ward (Nghe An province) said that he would check the information that people reported and implement appropriate solutions to ensure traffic safety.
