Initial information, on the evening of November 28, on the parallel road of Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, through An Phu Ward, Thu Duc City, there was a series of accidents between a 7-seat car with Ho Chi Minh City license plate and a 16-seat passenger van and many motorbikes.
According to local residents, the 7-seat car, driven by a man in his 40s, was traveling on the Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway, following the Vo Chi Cong intersection to the An Phu intersection; when it had just passed the intersection with Do Xuan Hop Street about 300m, it collided with a 16-seat passenger van traveling in the opposite direction.
After the collision, the 7-seat car crossed over to the opposite lane, drove 50 meters, and then crashed into 3 motorbikes. The vehicle only stopped when the front axle broke off.
At the scene, the 7-seater car was severely damaged, 3 motorbikes were hit by the car, and debris was scattered all over the road. The chain accident injured 4 people on 3 motorbikes and they had to be hospitalized.
Thu Duc City Police arrived at the scene to block off the parallel road of Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway from An Phu intersection to Vo Chi Cong intersection to serve the investigation.
As of 8:00 p.m., the scene had not yet been cleared. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
