On April 6, the People's Committee of Dong Trach commune said that the accident occurred at around 10:00 p.m. on April 5 at Km 641+300 National Highway 1, passing through village 5, Dong Trach commune.
At that time, the motorbike with license plate 73V-81XX was driven by D.V.M (born in 1984, residing in village 5, Dong Trach commune), moving in the North - South direction and turning through the median strip.
When arriving at the above location, Manh's motorbike collided with a motorbike with license plate 73F1-608.XX driven by T.H.L.N (born 2008, residing in Mai Hong village, Hai Phu commune), carrying behind him Ho Minh Quan (born 2008, residing in Noi Hoa village, Hai Phu commune), moving in the South - North direction.
The strong collision caused T.H.L.N to die on the spot, while D.V.M was taken to Bo Trach District General Hospital for emergency treatment but did not survive. The person sitting behind, Ho Minh Quan, had a broken leg and was being treated and monitored at the hospital.
After receiving the report, the authorities were present to protect the scene, regulate traffic and coordinate the handling of the incident.
On the morning of April 6, the Quang Binh Provincial Police force arrived to continue investigating and clarifying the cause of the accident.
The case is being further handled by the authorities according to regulations.
