Hai Ba Trung District Police (Hanoi) have just successfully rescued a car driver trapped in the cabin after a very strong crash on the elevated Ring Road 2.
Accordingly, at around 2:41 p.m. on November 7, upon receiving information from the Command Information Center of Hanoi City Police about a traffic accident with people trapped in a car at the exit to Ring Road 2 in the direction of Dai La - Truong Chinh, Hai Ba Trung District Police dispatched a fire truck and a rescue vehicle to the scene to handle the situation.
At that time, a white 4-seater car was traveling on the elevated Ring Road 2, when it reached the exit towards Dai La - Truong Chinh, it suddenly crashed into the median strip.
The strong crash caused the entire front of the car to deform, the driver was unconscious and trapped inside the car.
Upon arriving at the scene, the rescue team used professional measures to safely remove the driver. The driver was promptly taken to the emergency room.
The cause of the incident is being investigated by the authorities. Traffic in the area has stabilized and is back to normal.
