The incident occurred at around 7:45 a.m. on September 14 at km 01+900 of provincial road 392C in An Lac village, Thanh Mien commune. A truck traveling from Thanh Mien commune to Hai Hung commune collided with a motorbike driven by Mr. D.V.K (born in 1964, residing in Dak Lak province) traveling in the opposite direction.
As a result, Mr. K suffered serious injuries. Through inspection, Mr. K had an alcohol concentration of 286.8 mg/dL. The preliminary cause was that the truck driver and Mr. K did not observe and caused the accident.
Also according to the Traffic Safety Committee of Hai Phong City, on September 14, 6 traffic accidents occurred in the area, injuring 7 people. Previously, on September 13, the whole city had 4 traffic accidents, killing 3 people and injuring 3 others.
