On May 14, information from the Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police said that Ninh Hoa Traffic Police Station is completing the dossier to handle a case of a truck driver who disobeyed the orders of functional forces, causing traffic unsafety on National Highway 1.
Accordingly, at about 4:50 pm on May 14, during patrol and control to ensure traffic order and safety on National Highway 1, the task force discovered a truck with license plate 78H-022. xx showing signs of violation, so they signaled to stop the vehicle for inspection.
However, the driver did not comply but continued to drive away in the North - South direction on the section from Km1403+200 to Km1408+100.
During the movement, the driver steered the vehicle, posing a potential safety risk for many vehicles circulating on the route.
Faced with the above situation, the traffic police force deployed professional measures and coordinated to stop the vehicle for inspection according to regulations.

Through working, driver L.D. C (born 2000, residing in Van Hoa commune, Dak Lak province) admitted the violation.
Ninh Hoa Traffic Police Station made a record against the driver for the acts of not complying with the traffic controller's orders and driving recklessly on the road.
According to current regulations, for the offense of not complying with traffic controller's orders, drivers may be fined from 18 - 20 million VND and have their driver's license deducted 4 points.
For the act of driving recklessly on the road, the fine is from 40 - 50 million VND, and at the same time, 10 points from the driver's license will be deducted.
The Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police recommends that vehicle drivers strictly comply with the orders of functional forces, do not drive vehicles swerving, running away or performing acts that endanger traffic participants.
