Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Construction has just announced the adjustment of traffic organization through Ninh Cuong pontoon bridge at Km74+391/QL37B.
Accordingly, passenger cars and trucks are temporarily prohibited in both directions through Ninh Cuong pontoon bridge. The application time is from 8 am on March 21 until there is a replacement notice.
The Department has also developed a traffic diversion plan for passenger cars and trucks moving from Nghia Hung commune to Ninh Cuong commune to follow the following directions:
- Direction DT490C → DT488B or DT487 → National Highway 21 passing through Lac Quan bridge (crossing Ninh Co river) → National Highway 37B → Ninh Cuong commune and vice versa.
- Direction DT490C → DT490 to Thinh Long bridge (crossing Ninh Co river)/NH21B to Hai Thinh commune and vice versa.
For passenger cars and trucks in the area moving in the direction of Ninh Co right dike → Dai Noi ferry/QL37B → Ninh Co left dike and vice versa.
Functional forces coordinate with the pontoon bridge management unit to organize regulation and guidance on traffic diversion; and at the same time strengthen the inspection of pontoon bridges to promptly detect damage and propose handling plans to ensure traffic safety.
The Department of Construction requests transport businesses, vehicle owners and traffic participants to pay attention to the sign system and instructions from functional forces to adjust their travel routes appropriately, avoiding congestion and ensuring traffic safety.
