On the afternoon of April 10, Binh Thuan Ward People's Committee announced the decision to temporarily suspend the position of Ms. Ngo Thi Thoa - Principal of Doi Can Kindergarten.
Ms. Thoa was temporarily suspended for 15 days, from April 10 to the end of April 25. The decision was issued to serve the process of inspecting and verifying feedback related to food at the school.
Binh Thuan Ward People's Committee assigned Ms. Hoang Thi Ha - Vice Principal of the school to be in charge of administration during the above period.
Previously, as Lao Dong newspaper reported, when parents entered the school's food processing area, they discovered many bags of peanuts moldy and discolored.
Parents also reflected on food norms and unit prices at schools.
After the reflection, functional agencies established an inter-sectoral inspection team to work with the school and take food samples for testing.
