On March 18, the People's Council of Ea H'leo district, Dak Lak province issued a notice on the temporary suspension of the 6th thematic session, term X, 2021-2026. This suspension will last until further notice.
According to the plan, this session is expected to carry out the procedure for dismissing Mr. Nguyen Van Ha from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea H'leo district, and at the same time elect Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, to this position.
Previously, on March 7, the Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee issued a decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Society of the Provincial People's Council, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ea H'leo District Party Committee. At the same time, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee also approved Mr. Nguyen Van Ha, Chairman of the District People's Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Ea H'leo District Party Committee.
According to the representative of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the transfer of Mr. Nguyen Van Toan and Mr. Nguyen Van Ha had been agreed upon by the province before March 7. However, according to the direction of the Politburo, from March 7, 2025, the activities of mobilizing and appointing district-level cadres must be temporarily suspended.
