On September 13, Son Hai Group said that it had just completed the road connecting Sen and Bang villages, Hoan Lao commune, Quang Tri province.
The route has a total length of 3.24km, 100% sponsored by the group, with a total investment of nearly 12 billion VND. The project consists of 2 sections connecting Bang village to Sen village, serving the travel, living and production needs of the people.
According to Son Hai Group, the road is designed to be 6m wide, with a 5cm thick C16 asphalt concrete road surface on a crushed stone foundation. A drainage system has been built on both sides of the road.
In particular, the entire Sen - Bang route was constructed and completed in just 20 days, with the maximum mobilization of modern machinery and equipment. The construction quality is equivalent to current expressways.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tu, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoan Lao commune, said that the old road has seriously degraded after many years of use, the road surface is peeling, creating many potholes, posing a potential danger to road users.
"People are very happy, from now on travel will be much more convenient. The muddy rainy season and dusty dry season are no longer there" - Mr. Tu shared.
According to Son Hai Group, the entire funding for the route is an action stemming from the understanding of the difficulties of local people. After receiving approval from the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, the group quickly implemented and received active support from the people in site clearance work.
A representative of Son Hai Group emphasized that this is not only a traffic road but also a "road" connecting hearts, demonstrating the company's sense of community responsibility towards the homeland of Quang Tri. The new route will help people travel safely and conveniently, connecting residential areas and the transportation network, thereby promoting trade and socio-economic development.
