Spring travel to Bo Temple and explore Hoa Binh Lake has long attracted a large number of domestic and foreign tourists, especially at the beginning of the new year.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuyen (32 years old, owner of Truong Giang tourist boat) said that in order to prepare to welcome tourists during the spring of At Ty 2025, since November 2024, the boat owners have proactively invested and repaired to prepare for the experiential tourism season after Tet.
“This year, the early announcement of the 9-day Lunar New Year holiday not only creates more options for tourists to travel, but also helps tourism service businesses in the province have time to carefully prepare facilities, human resources and services, thereby reasonably distributing the number of visitors and reducing transportation pressure on peak days,” said Mr. Tuyen.
Similarly, Mr. Tran Khac My (63 years old, owner of Hai Dang 01 tourist boat) shared: “At the end of 2024, our business invested nearly 2 billion VND to upgrade and repair 3 existing boats, and at the same time invested in building a new boat, to serve tourists to visit and experience the beauty of Hoa Binh Lake”.
According to Mr. My, the number of tourists visiting tourist attractions on Hoa Binh Lake is expected to increase. At this point, all boats have fully prepared facilities and service skills, ready to welcome tourists during the upcoming Tet holidays.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Ngo Thanh Tung - Deputy Director of Tay Bac Media and Tourism Company said: "The Hoa Binh Lake area not only has beautiful scenery, but this place is also a spiritual place that attracts many tourists. Every year, the Bo Temple Festival takes place from the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year and lasts until the end of the 3rd lunar month, this is also considered the golden time to attract tourists".
"On this occasion, every day, tourist boats welcome thousands of visitors from all over the country to visit spring, attend festivals and make pilgrimages. Thereby creating stable income for businesses, as well as promoting the tourism industry of Hoa Binh province," Mr. Tung assessed.
Ms. Quach Thi Kieu - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh province informed that Hoa Binh lake has great advantages in tourism potential. To develop the tourism industry, people have expanded many types of services such as eco-tourism, spiritual tourism, resorts, entertainment activities and community tourism to increase the attraction for domestic and foreign tourists.
In the coming time, the province will also continue to focus on stimulating tourism in the lake area, especially in early spring.
