More than 4 months ago, when storm No. 11 passed, the house of Mrs. Ho Thi Dong (80 years old), in Phuoc Thanh village, Binh Son commune, completely collapsed, leaving only piles of bricks and tiles scattered. Implementing the Quang Trung Campaign, with the Fund for Relief of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the Provincial Police supporting funds, local volunteer forces supporting working days along with the contributions of relatives, Mrs. Dong has a solid home to welcome Binh Ngo Tet 2026.
Seeing the house collapse, I could only cry because I had no place to live when Tet Nguyen Dan was approaching. Fortunately, the State supported me with funds and working days to rebuild the house, I was extremely touched, many nights I couldn't sleep because I was too happy" - Ms. Dong confided.
Sharing the joy of welcoming Binh Ngo Tet 2026 in the new house built from the Quang Trung Campaign is the family of Mr. Do Van Nghia, in An Chau village, Binh Son commune.
The house has just been completed, Mr. Nghia is busy cleaning it up to be able to move in before Tet. Mr. Nghia's old house collapsed due to storm No. 11. With the funding and working days supported by the Relief Fund of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the Provincial Police, the house was rebuilt in 30 days with a spirit of urgency, determination, and speed, helping his family soon stabilize their lives and promptly celebrate the Lunar New Year 2026 in a new house.
Looking at the new house that the State supported with funding and construction labor, my family is really grateful. We will try to live well, strive to develop the economy so as not to disappoint the police officers, militia... who joined hands to help the family rebuild this spacious house" - Mr. Nghia confided.
Implementing the "Quang Trung Campaign" on supporting the rebuilding and repair of houses for households affected by natural disasters and storms in the Central region, ministries, branches, and localities have mobilized all resources and forces with the spirit of "3 shifts, 4 teams", "overcoming sunshine, winning rain", "working day and night", organizing and deploying the Campaign synchronously and effectively. In Quang Ngai, the province has completed repairing 319 houses and built 37/37 new houses for people.
