On May 11, the Center for Rescue, Conservation and Development of Organisms under Kon Ka Kinh National Park just organized the release of 8 wild animal individuals back to the natural environment after a period of receiving, caring for and restoring health.
Released individuals include many precious animal species, including pangolin java, golden mountain turtle and otter. These are all animals voluntarily handed over to functional agencies by people in the area.
The fact that people proactively hand over wild animals shows an increasing awareness in biodiversity protection and compliance with the law on forest animal protection.
After receiving them, the individuals were monitored by the Animal Rescue Center of Kon Ka Kinh National Park for health, treatment of injuries, nutritional care and restoration of survival instincts.
When they are eligible for adaptation, individuals are selected to be released to a suitable forest area in the core area of the national park to ensure the ability to reintegrate into the natural environment.
Representatives of Kon Ka Kinh National Park said that wildlife rescue and releasing is a regular task, contributing to the conservation of rare species and maintaining the balance of the forest ecosystem.
The unit also called on people to continue to coordinate with the forest ranger force, promptly notify or hand over wild animals when detected to be rescued according to procedures.
