On August 19, a groundbreaking ceremony and inauguration ceremony for 6 key projects took place in Thai Nguyen. The event is also a main television connection point with the Hanoi National Exhibition Center.
Of the implemented projects, Yen Binh II Industrial Park (IP) has a scale of 299 hectares, a total investment capital of VND 3,650 billion, with Yen Binh Development Investment Joint Stock Company as the investor.
The project is expected to be completed in 36 months, aiming to build a green and modern industrial infrastructure. This is considered an important highlight in the province's industrial park development orientation.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Van Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister, Head of the Government Office and leaders of units under the Government Office.
On the side of Thai Nguyen province, there were Mr. Trinh Viet Hung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, departments, localities and representatives of enterprises.
Yen Binh II Industrial Park expects to orient green, smart infrastructure, attracting high-tech enterprises.
The project not only adds industrial land to create tens of thousands of jobs but also contributes to increasing local budget revenue.
On the same day, Thai Nguyen province inaugurated the connecting route Bac Giang (Bac Ninh) - Thai Nguyen - Vinh Phuc (Phu Tho) phase 1, 42.55 km long with a total investment of VND 4,204 billion.
After more than 3 years of construction, the road has been completed and officially put into operation, contributing to improving and synchronizing traffic infrastructure.
At the same time, it creates conditions to promote trade, attract new investment, and open up space for socio-economic development.
In the urban area, Thai Nguyen has also started construction of the new urban area and walking street in Phan Dinh Phung ward, with a capital of VND2,452 billion.
The project is deployed on an area of 6.64 hectares, aiming at a cultural and artistic space, connecting Vo Nguyen Giap Square with Cau River.
In the field of services, the entertainment complex project, houses and golf course Tan Thai Nui Coc phase 1 is being implemented.
The project is deployed on an area of about 220 hectares, with an investment capital of VND2,500 billion with the largest 27-hole golf course in the province.
This service complex also includes resort, entertainment, commercial housing items, expected to create a strong momentum in tourism development, orienting high-end services of Thai Nguyen province in the future.
The local health sector has made an additional impression with the Intensive Care Center for Anti-Poisoning under Thai Nguyen Central Hospital.
The project has a scale of 5 floors, 120 beds, with an investment capital of 152.9 billion VND and is equipped with many modern equipment.
In addition, Thai Nguyen also started construction of a social housing project in Bach Quang ward with an investment capital of 386.85 billion VND.
The project has a scale of more than 460 apartments and townhouses, integrated with many utility infrastructure to serve workers and laborers.
With the simultaneous groundbreaking and inauguration of 6 projects, Thai Nguyen has affirmed its central role in the national event series.
This is an important first step contributing to creating momentum for socio-economic development in the new period.
