The People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province has just issued Decision No. 2211 Order to urgently construct works for the Huu Cau dike construction project from Cao Ngan bridge to Thac Huong dam. The project belongs to the flood prevention works system in the central area of the province.
The project is implemented in Phan Dinh Phung, Quan Trieu and Gia Sang wards. The implementation period is from 2025 to 2027. The total estimated cost is about VND 7,610 billion, from the central and local budgets and other legal sources.
The project is of special importance in flood prevention and control, ensuring safety of islands in the central area of the province. Contributing to the completion of the flood prevention infrastructure system in the central area, effectively exploiting land funds, promoting local socio-economic development.
The Thai Nguyen Province Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board is assigned to manage and organize the project implementation. At the same time, coordinate with relevant units to select appropriate technical options. Develop an implementation plan according to the emergency order, ensuring quality, safety and progress of the project.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment is responsible for the accuracy and legality of the dossier, data, technical solutions and expected funding.
