The Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Thai Nguyen province has just set a target of completing 100% of the number of temporary and dilapidated houses that meet the conditions before April 30, 2024.
According to statistics in Thai Nguyen, there are 1,498 temporary and dilapidated houses that are eligible for support. Of which, the number of houses supported for new construction is 913, 585 of which are subject to repair.
The Steering Committee for the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Thai Nguyen and local Party committees and authorities have identified the elimination of temporary houses for people as one of the important political tasks, top priority.
With noble human values, the locality has focused on directing and organizing implementation with high determination, creativity, responsibility, and efficiency.


As a result, by March 6, the whole province had completed the construction and repair of 1,363 houses, reaching 91%.
Striving to complete 100% of the temporary and dilapidated houses that are eligible before April 30 will help Thai Nguyen return 8 months ahead of the plan of the province and the Central Government.
This will create conditions for people to settle down and make a living soon; contributing to ensuring social security and improving the quality of life for people.
