As one of 65 households in the commune with a new house, these days, Mr. Pham Van Ram (62 years old), in Lang Xi 2 village, Ba To commune, is very happy. Mr. Ram confided: Before, my family lived in an old, dilapidated, dilapidated house. Now at my new house, I am very assured. The state supported 60 million VND, I borrowed an additional 40 million VND to build a solid house. The Youth Union and the shock forces of the commune and district supported the construction of houses to be completed before Tet. I am very happy and grateful for the attention and support of the State and the authorities.
Not far from Mr. Ram's house, Mr. Pham Van Quy's family's house has just been completed. Mr. Quy's family is poor, his wife is seriously ill. For many years, his family has lived in a dilapidated house, and every time there is a storm, they are worried that their house will collapse.
"My family's circumstances are difficult, so I never dared to think that there would be conditions to build a new house like this. Fortunately, with the help of local authorities, relatives, neighbors, and family, my family has a new, solid house to live in. I am very happy and will try to overcome difficulties in life, Mr. Quy said emotionally.
Not only Mr. Ram, Mr. Quy, but up to now, in Ba To commune, there are 65 households sharing the joy of living in new houses. Notably, out of 36 families supported to build new houses, 11 families built a stilt house-style house, with construction costs ranging from 70 - 110 million VND/house.
