Accordingly, the project has a total investment of more than 2,116 billion VND, implemented on an area of about 4.5ha, with a population scale of more than 5,100 people.
The highlight of the project is the development of about 1,960 social housing apartments in 7 15-story apartment buildings, along with 50 adjacent commercial houses.
Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee also assigned the joint venture of VFS Joint Stock Company and An Huy Investment Joint Stock Company to implement the project.
According to the plan, the project will be implemented from the second quarter of 2026 to the second quarter of 2029, with a operating term of 50 years from the date of land allocation.
The project is oriented to meet the stable housing needs for low-income people, industrial park workers and workers in the area. At the same time, it contributes to completing urban infrastructure in a synchronous and modern direction.
In the period 2026 - 2030, Thai Nguyen is assigned to develop 24,800 social housing units. However, based on the provincial planning for the period 2021 - 2030, vision to 2050, Thai Nguyen has adjusted and supplemented the target to 60,000 units by 2030.
Currently, the whole province has reviewed and identified 73 projects and locations of land funds for social housing development with a total area of about 258.81ha.
