On June 18, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee said that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee had just organized a conference to remove difficulties and obstacles for backlog and prolonged projects in the area.

At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that the Provincial People's Committee has established the Provincial Steering Committee 751 and 4 working groups headed by Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; organized weekly meetings, focusing on reviewing and removing difficulties for each project.
As of June 15, Thanh Hoa has had 117 projects removed difficulties and obstacles; and 184 projects are being further processed by sectors and localities.

Mr. Le Duc Thai - Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee to continue to lead the Provincial People's Committee to synchronously implement the guidelines, resolutions, and directions of the Central Government and Directive No. 08 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; focus on reviewing and completing the list and detailed dossiers of each project; properly classify the nature of difficulties and obstacles.
Along with that, clearly define the legal status, handling plan, implementation progress and responsibilities of each agency, unit, and locality; quickly complete the dismantling of projects under their authority before August 31.
Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary also requested that projects applying special mechanisms and policies according to Resolution No. 29 and Decree No. 147 must ensure the right subjects, the right conditions, the right authority and the right order and procedures according to regulations; absolutely not legalize violations, not cause new violations, not cause loss of land, assets and state budget.
For projects with signs of violations but without inspection conclusions or insufficient grounds for handling, assign the Provincial Inspectorate and relevant agencies to urgently inspect, examine, clarify violations, determine responsibilities and propose handling plans in accordance with regulations.
The definitive removal of backlog and prolonged projects must go hand in hand with strengthening inspection and supervision, preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and negativity; thereby unlocking resources and creating new momentum for socio-economic development of the locality in the coming period.
