    Khanh Hoa - A drowning incident occurred at Ham Rong dam, killing 2 teenagers.

    On the afternoon of April 8, Ms. Bui Thi Thuy Lien - Chairman of Ninh Ich Commune People's Committee confirmed that she had sent a report to Ninh Hoa Town People's Committee about a drowning incident that killed 2 teenagers.

    According to information from the People's Committee of Ninh Ich commune, on the afternoon of April 7, Dang Truong Son (born in 2007) and Nguyen Minh Chinh (born in 2007, both residing in Tan Phu village, Ninh Ich commune) went to Ham Rong dam area to swim.

    Here, the two discovered Huynh Minh Tu (born in 2011, residing in Tan Dao village) in the middle of the lake, constantly waving for help.

    Immediately, Son carried Chinh out to swim to approach and save Tu. However, because the water was too deep, Chinh was swept away and forced to let Son go to swim again.

    Meanwhile, Son continued to try to bring Tu to shore but both were exhausted and drowned.

    Fortunately, people discovered and gave first aid in time, escaping the critical condition.

    At around 4:00 p.m. the same day, the Ninh Ich Commune Police force arrived at the scene to coordinate in verifying the incident. The bodies of the two students were taken up and handed over to their families for burial procedures.
