Areas with active thunderstorms include Binh Tien, Tan My, Tan Hung, Phu Dinh, Dien Hong, Binh Thoi, Thoi An, An Phu Dong, Lai Thieu wards and Vinh Loc, Binh Loi, Dong Thanh, Nha Be communes. In which, some areas recorded quite strong radar response areas such as Thoi An and An Phu Dong, reaching 47 dBZ; Dong Thanh 45.5 dBZ and Binh Loi 39 dBZ.
In the next 3 hours, convective clouds will continue to develop, causing showers, thunderstorms and lightning in the above areas, then it is likely to expand to neighboring areas. Common rainfall is 5-20 mm, in some places over 30 mm.
During thunderstorms, people need to be wary of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind at level 5-7 (8-17 m/s). Heavy rain can also cause localized flooding in low-lying areas.
Weather forecast for the next 24-48 hours: A low pressure trough with an axis of about 24-27 degrees North latitude is weakly operating. Southwest monsoon maintains medium intensity, while high-altitude wind convergence continues to operate well in the area.

Upper-level wind convergence continues to operate.
Therefore, in the coming days, the Southern region will continue to have sunshine during the day. By late afternoon, thunderstorms tend to increase. The rain area is mainly concentrated in the East and Lam Dong regions, with scattered rain; some places have moderate rain, probability 30-50%. Localized heavy rain may appear, probability 5-20%.
