To ensure security, safety and smooth traffic, serving the 2569th - 2025th New Year's Eve (hereinafter referred to as the Great Festival), Hanoi City Police announce traffic diversion and organize travel for all types of vehicles, including: cargo vehicles with a cargo weight of 500kg or more, passenger cars with 25 seats or more (except buses, garbage collection vehicles, incident handling vehicles, vehicles with protection badges, vehicles serving the Great Festival) as follows:
From 14:00 to 16:30 on May 13, 2025, the above types of vehicles will be restricted on the following routes:
Vo Van Kiet (section in front of Noi Bai Airport), Vo Nguyen Giap, Nhat Tan Bridge, Vo Chi Cong, Ring Road II (section from Vo Chi Cong - Ring Road II to Dao Tan - Ring Road II), Dao Tan, Kim Ma, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Le Duan (section from Le Duan - Nguyen Thai Hoc to Le Duan - Tran Nhan Tong), Tran Nhan Tong (section from Tran Nhan Tong - Le Duan to Tran Nhan Tong - Quang Trung), Tran Binh Trong, Da Tuong.
From 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on May 13, 2025, the above types of vehicles will be restricted on the route:
Ly Thuong Kiet (from Ly Thuong Kiet - Phan Boi Chau to Ly Thuong Kiet - Hang Bai), Hang Bai, Dinh Tien Hoang, Le Thai To, Ba Trieu (from Hang Khay - Ba Trieu to Ly Thuong Kiet - Ba Trieu).
From 05:30 to 22:30 on the days from 14.5 to 16.5 2025, the above types of vehicles are restricted on the route:
The Palace (from the Arahant - Ly Thuong Kiet to Quan Su - Hai Ba Trung), Tran Hung Dao (from Tran Hung Dao - Quang Trung to Le Duan - Tran Hung Dao), Yet Kieu, Tran Binh Trong, Nguyen Du, Tran Quoc Toan (from Tran Quoc Toan - Yet Kieu to Tran Quoc Toan - Quang Trung), Ly Thuong Kiet (from Ly Thuong Kiet - Phan Boi Chau to Ly Thuong Kiet - Hoa Lo - Hoa Lo). Temporarily prohibit vehicles (except for vehicles with protective badges, cars serving the ceremony) on the Arahant route (the section from the Quan Su - Tran Hung Dao to Quan Su - Ly Thuong Kiet).
From 05:00 to 07:30 on May 17, 2025, the above types of vehicles are restricted on the route:
Ly Thuong Kiet (from Ly Thuong Kiet - Hoa Lo to Ly Thuong Kiet - Le Duan), Le Duan, Giai Phong, Do Muoi (from Do Muoi - Ngoc Hoi to Do Muoi - entrance to Hanoi Expressway, Ninh Binh).
From 14:30 to 17:30 on May 21, 2025, the above types of vehicles are restricted on the route:
Do Muoi (from Do Muoi - Hanoi Expressway entrance, Ninh Binh to Do Muoi - Ngoc Hoi), Giai Phong, Ngap Vong, Truong Chinh, Ring Road II (from Truong Chinh to Ngap So), Lang, Ring Road II, Vo Chi Cong, Nhat Tan Bridge, Vo Nguyen Giap.
To ensure security, order and traffic safety for the Festival, Hanoi Police require all vehicle owners and vehicle operators when participating in traffic to voluntarily comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety and the guidance, regulation and traffic flow of the authorities.
