On June 4, Mr. Vu Tien Lu, Secretary of the Dak Glong District Party Committee (Dak Nong) confirmed that he had met with the Gia Nghia City Party Committee on the arrangement of cadres after the merger into Bac Gia Nghia ward.
The two sides agreed to accept all 24 cadres and civil servants from Dak Ha commune to the new ward.
According to the merger plan, Dak Ha commune will merge with Quang Thanh, Nghia Thanh, and Nghia Duc wards of Gia Nghia city to form Bac Gia Nghia ward.
However, Gia Nghia City Party Committee later proposed not to accept cadres from Dak Ha. This locality gave reasons for concern that Bac Gia Nghia ward will have a large number of cadres and workers after the merger. This will cause difficulties in long-term job placement and staff reduction.
Meanwhile, in Dak Glong district, there is a commune of Quang Son that is not merged and is adjacent to Dak Ha commune. If Dak Ha commune cadres are assigned to work in Dak Glong district, it will be more stable.
Not to mention, after the merger, each year the new wards and communes continue to streamline the payroll by 20%. This reduction will last until 2030, so it will affect cadres.
However, the proposal of the Gia Nghia City Party Committee received many mixed opinions.
Regarding this proposal, the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee proposed that the Standing Committee of Gia Nghia City Party Committee coordinate with the Dak Glong District Party Committee to discuss the plan to arrange cadres of Dak Ha commune after merging into Bac Gia Nghia ward.
If there is no consensus, localities need to report and propose to the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee for synthesis and reporting to the Provincial Party Committee.
