The remaining 4 cases are being monitored and treated and will likely be discharged from the hospital next week.
As Lao Dong reported, on November 11, Huong Tra Medical Center received 16 cases of suspected food poisoning, which were workers of JOINTWELL Vietnam Co., Ltd. (CN10 road, Tu Ha Industrial Park, Huong Tra ward). The patients had symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea, suspected to be due to food poisoning.
After receiving the treatment, doctors quickly organized emergency care and divided treatment into four groups. According to the report, the lunch menu at the factory includes: fried tuna, shrimp spread, fried eggs, shrimp-bike cabbage soup.
The company's collective kitchen catering service provider is business household Hoang Thi My L., with a food safety certificate No. 176/2023/ATTP-CNDK issued by the Department of Food Safety and Hygiene on December 12, 2023.
Currently, Huong Tra Medical Center has taken food samples and feces and sent them to Hue City Center for testing and determining the cause.
