Speaking at the traffic ceremony, Mr. Truong Viet Dong - Chairman of VEC Members' Council said, after restarting construction from the third quarter of 2023, some sections of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway Project basically completed.
According to the plan, the western segment (from Km3+420 to Km21+739.5) and the eastern section (from Km35+900 to Km50+530) is expected to be completed before April 30, 2025.
Recently, in order to serve the travel needs of people on the occasion of the Lunar New Year in 2025, VEC officially put into temporary exploitation from the intersection of Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong to the intersection of Highway 1A and the section from the intersection Phuoc An to the intersection of Highway 51 of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway Project from January 23, 2025, making an important contribution to reducing the traffic load to create a driving force for economic development.
VEC strives to overcome all difficulties and challenges to complete and bring each section of the route to exploit the entire Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway Project in 2026.
Speaking at the traffic ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh - Vice Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at the enterprise suggested that immediately after the traffic ceremony, VEC continued with the spirit of "sunny, winning rain", "" 3 shifts, 4 crews ”, continue to overcome all difficulties, great efforts, high determination, strive to bring the rest of the east and western section of the project before April 30 through the entire route in 2026.
