Notably, the subjects used sophisticated tricks, understanding social insurance and health insurance policies, causing many people to mistake them for insurance industry officials.
Quang Tri Provincial Social Insurance affirmed that the social insurance industry has no policy of calling, texting via Zalo or sending links, QR codes to request people to provide citizen identification cards, OTP codes, personal passwords or carry out information update and change procedures. The conversion and update of data according to personal identification numbers is carried out automatically by the system of the social insurance agency according to the roadmap, people do not have to do any additional procedures.
Faced with the above-mentioned situation of impersonating to defraud, Khe Sanh grassroots social insurance has requested grassroots authorities, police of 7 communes in the old Huong Hoa district, and labor-using units to strengthen propaganda and widely warn; and at the same time advised people to only access information, perform social insurance and health insurance transactions through official channels of the industry, not click on strange links, and not provide personal information to people claiming to be social insurance officials via phone or social networks.
