An Giang - Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen and the delegation visited and presented gifts of gratitude to 2 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers residing in Rach Gia ward.

To celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day July 27, on the afternoon of July 25, the working delegation of Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security visited and presented gifts of gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dang Thi Lieu and Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Boi, both residing in Rach Gia ward.

Visiting the Mothers, Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen cordially inquired about their health and life, expressing deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of the Mothers and their families to the cause of national liberation, national reunification and national defense.

The Deputy Minister of Public Security affirmed that those contributions and sacrifices have contributed to the independence, freedom, and peace today and will forever be a bright symbol of revolutionary heroism, a source of motivation for generations of cadres and soldiers of the People's Police to continue to strive, train, and excellently complete the task of protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety.

The activity of visiting and expressing gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers is a gesture rich in humanity, expressing the feelings, responsibility and deep gratitude of the Party, State, Ministry of Public Security and People's Public Security Forces towards those who have contributed to the revolution; and at the same time continuing to affirm the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", "Gratitude" - a precious tradition of the Vietnamese nation.

Also in the afternoon of July 25, the working delegation of Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen came to offer flowers and incense at the Temple of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc and the Memorial Temple of Heroic Martyrs and People with Meritorious Services of the province in Rach Gia ward.
