According to information from Bac Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company, based on the flood discharge plan of the cascade hydropower plants upstream of Chay River and the water flow to the plant's reservoir, at around 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. on September 30, the unit will discharge flood water through the spillway.
Discharge flow is from 400 m³ - 1,500 m³/s, of which the total discharge flow downstream is from 585 m³ - 1,685 m³/s. Water level downstream of the plant is from 125.7 - 128.75 m.
Therefore, Bac Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company informs relevant units to know and coordinate in disaster prevention work.
At the same time, local authorities are requested to notify people to promptly prevent possible damage.
